How to start a Video Call with an Attendee as an Exhibitor without having set up a meeting
Updated over a week ago

If an Attendee has requested a meeting outside the suggested Time Slots, you can start a video call by following the steps below.

Step 1: Access Exhibitor chat

An Exhibitor can start a video call with an Attendee by checking their conversations. To check the messages that were left in the “Talk to the Exhibitor chat,” the exhibitor will have to switch from their personal profile to their company profile.

Step 2: Begin the call

The Exhibitor will have to select the conversation with the specific Attendee and launch the call using our integrated video call feature located in the top right corner of the chat.

Note: Only the Exhibitor can start the Video Call.

When you are using the video call feature for the first time on Swapcard, a pop-up should appear asking for permission to use your camera and microphone. If you did not see this, or accepted it and are still having issues, please follow the steps and instructions in this article to troubleshoot.
