The Me tab is your personal hub in the Swapcard event app. It brings together everything related to you (your profile, contacts, schedule, and bookmarks) along with quick access to your settings, support, and, if you are part of an exhibiting company, your team's Exhibitor Center tools.
The content of the Me tab adapts to where you are in the app: outside any event or community, inside a community, or inside a specific event. This article explains how to open the Me tab on web and mobile and what you will find in each context.
How to access the Me tab
On mobile (iOS and Android): tap the person icon at the bottom right of the navigation bar.
On web: click your profile picture or initials in the top right corner of the event app.
The Me tab is organized in two parts:
Top section: your name and picture, along with shortcuts to your personal pages (and, for exhibitors, to your company's tools).
Bottom section: a menu with links to Exhibitor Center, Event Studio, Settings, support, and other account options.
What you see depending on your context
Outside an event or community
When you open the Me tab from the main list of communities and events, you see a simplified view with your name and the My contacts shortcut. Your profile cannot be edited from this level because profile information is specific to each event or community.
If you are a member of an exhibiting company, an Exhibitor Center link is also displayed so you can reach your company's workspace directly.
Inside a community
Once you open a community, the Me tab displays the full personal view:
Edit profile: opens your profile so you can update your information for this community.
My contacts: lists the people you have connected with.
My schedule: shows the sessions you have added to your agenda, and your meetings when available.
My bookmarks: gathers the exhibitors, items, and on-demand videos you have saved.
Good to know: My bookmarks only appears when there is content to bookmark (for example, an exhibitor list, items, or on-demand videos) or when you have already bookmarked something. If only one type of content is available, the page opens directly on it without tabs.
Inside an event
Within an event, the Me tab shows the same personal shortcuts as in a community: Edit profile, My contacts, My schedule, and My bookmarks. My schedule is always available at event level. If you have both sessions in your agenda and booked meetings, the page displays two tabs: Schedule and My meetings.
Switch between the Exhibitor and Personal views (mobile)
If you are a team member of an exhibiting company attached to the current event, the Me tab on mobile includes a toggle below the top section. It lets you switch between two views:
Exhibitor view (selected by default): displays your company's logo and name, an Edit company profile button, and shortcuts to Exhibitor Center features.
Personal view: displays your own profile with Edit profile, My contacts, My schedule, and My bookmarks.
Exhibitor view
The Exhibitor view gives you one-tap access to your company's key tools:
Team's contacts: all the contacts and leads collected by your team.
Team's meetings: the meetings booked with your team members.
Export leads: download your team's leads and contacts.
AI Recommended leads: participants suggested as relevant prospects for your company.
Team members: the members of your exhibitor team.
Good to know: Shortcuts are displayed according to your permissions and your company's plan. A feature you do not have access to is hidden rather than shown as disabled. Permission changes are applied the next time you open the app.
Personal view
Tap the person icon on the toggle to switch to the Personal view and access your own profile and saved content.
Note: If the organizer has restricted your company's access to Exhibitor Center, the Me tab opens on the Personal view and the Exhibitor option of the toggle is disabled. Tapping it displays a message explaining that Exhibitor Center is currently unavailable.
If the organizer has enabled the marketplace for the event, a marketplace shortcut is also available in both views.
Menu options in the Me tab
Below the top section, the menu gives you access to the following options. Some items only appear for specific roles.
Exhibitor Center: opens your company's Exhibitor Center (exhibitor team members only).
Event Studio: opens the organizer back office (organizers only).
Settings: manages your account, language, privacy, and account deletion.
Enable push notifications: turns on notifications on your device (mobile only).
Contact app support: reaches the Swapcard support team.
Resource center: opens help articles and resources.
Rate the app: leaves a rating on the app store (mobile only).
Legal center: groups the legal notice, terms of use, privacy policy, and cookie consent.
Log out: signs you out of the app.
Important notes and limitations
The Exhibitor/Personal toggle is available on the iOS and Android apps. On web, Exhibitor Center remains accessible from the Exhibitor Center link in the menu.
The Exhibitor Center link and the Exhibitor view only appear if you are a team member of an exhibitor attached to the event or community you are currently browsing.
Your profile can only be edited from within an event or community, not from the root level of the app.
The colors of the Me tab follow the branding of the current event or community.
The Me tab centralizes your personal information and your most-used tools in one place, on both web and mobile. Whether you want to review your schedule, find a contact, or, as an exhibitor, check your team's leads and meetings, everything is just one tap away. Take a moment to explore it at the start of each event to make the most of your experience.
