Keeping track of your event schedule is essential to ensure you don’t miss important sessions or meetings. This article will guide you on how to export your event schedule to your personal calendar applications, like Google Calendar, directly from the Event App. By syncing your schedule, you can seamlessly manage your availability and stay organized throughout the event.

Before importing your schedule into a third-party calendar application, you need to export the calendar from Swapcard. To do this:

  • Log into the Event App and navigate to the "My Event" page.

  • Click on the “My Schedule” or “My Meetings” tab to view your sessions and meetings.

  • Click the "Export to my calendar" button and save the exported file to your device.

The next step slightly varies depending on the calendar application used.

Managing your schedule with Google calendar

Import your schedule into Google calendar

  • Go to Google Calendar on your desktop.

  • Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select “Settings.”

  • On the left sidebar, click “Add calendar” and then select “Import and Export.”

  • Click “Select file from your computer,” choose the exported .ics file from Swapcard, and click “Import.”

Your events will now be added to your Google Calendar.

How to sync Your Event Schedule with Google Calendar

Follow these steps to connect your Google Calendar to the Event App using the settings page:

  • Log in to the Event App and click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings” to access your account settings.

  • In the Settings page, scroll down until you find the “Calendar accounts” section. This section is dedicated to managing your calendar synchronization options.

  • Under the “Calendar accounts” section, you will see the Google Calendar option with a “Connect” button next to it. Click “Connect” to start the synchronization process.

  • All your registered sessions and confirmed meetings are automatically synced with your Google Calendar, keeping your schedule up-to-date.

  • Any changes or updates made to your event schedule are reflected in your Google Calendar in real-time.

Note: This feature is currently available only on the web version of the Event App.


Import your schedule into Apple calendar

On Mac:

  • Launch the Calendar app on your Mac.

  • Click “File” in the top menu, then select “Import…”

  • Select the .ics file from your device and click “Import.”

On iOS:

  • Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  • Navigate to Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other, then tap “Add Subscribed Calendar.”

  • Enter the URL of the .ics file and fill in any other required information.

Import your schedule into Outlook calendar

  • Launch Outlook on your computer.

  • Click “File” and then select “Open & Export.”

  • Click “Import/Export” and choose “Import a calendar
