The Hosted Buyer Program is designed to facilitate easier connections with the right people during an event. Instead of leaving networking up to chance, you’ll get a personalized schedule of one-to-one meetings that match your interests and goals.
As a participant, you’ll be able to:
Review profiles of other attendees (buyers, sellers, exhibitors, sponsors, etc.)
Indicate who you’d like to meet, who would be nice to meet, and who you’d rather not meet
Receive a schedule of confirmed meetings that fits within the event timetable
How It Works
1. Make Your Selections
When the selection phase opens, you will receive an email (optional) or go directly to the Event App. Then, you’ll be able to:
Browse through participant profiles
Use filters to narrow down by industry, company, role, or other criteria
Mark each profile as: Must Meet | Nice to meet | Exclude
Be sure to complete your choices before the selection deadline set by the organizer. The more selection you have, the higher the chance of meeting people who are right for you!
2. Check Your Schedule
After the selection period ends, the organizer will generate the participants' meeting schedules. You’ll then find your confirmed meetings in the event platform under My Schedule.
3. Manage Your Meetings
From your schedule, you can:
View meeting times and locations
Reschedule or decline if needed
Add a description or an agenda to your meetings in the description field
Open the event map (if available) to locate your meeting spot
4. Give Feedback
After each meeting, you can confirm whether the meeting took place inside the meeting details page by clicking on Great, Not great, or Was not held. This helps the organizer track attendance and success, and improve future programs.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
Start early: make your selections as soon as you’re notified.
Be thoughtful: focus on people who align with your objectives.
Be creative: The more selections you have, the more chances you have to meet the right participants.
Respect deadlines: once the selection period closes, you won’t be able to change your choices.
Follow through: attend your scheduled meetings and provide feedback afterwards.
