How can I manage my Profile and Event Content?

Learn how to customize your profile to enhance your networking experience at the event.

Your profile page is your personalized control center within Swapcard. From this single location, you can update your personal details, check your upcoming sessions and meetings, connect with attendees, and revisit saved content. This article walks you through how to use each part of the profile page to stay organized and engaged at your events.


🔍 How do I access my profile?

Your profile is just one tap or click away.

  • On desktop: Click your profile icon in the top-right and choose Edit profile

  • On mobile: Tap the Profile icon in the bottom menu

From here, you can access:

  • Your personal info

  • My schedule, My contacts, My bookmarks

  • Settings, Support Center, and more


✏️ How do I update my profile details?

Having a polished profile boosts your visibility and makes networking easier.

To edit your info:

  1. Click Edit profile

  2. Update your name, job title, company, or bio

  3. Click Save—your updates appear across all your events

Want to show your company? Just type it into the Company field—this helps attendees find and connect with colleagues.

Adding a profile photo:

Adding a profile picture makes your profile more recognizable and approachable.You can add a profile photo on desktop and on mobile.

  • Desktop: Go to Edit profile > click the + icon near your image

  • Mobile: When first logging into your event via the mobile app, you will be prompted to add a profile photo.

    Click on Add your picture, select the photo you want to have as a profile picture and then crop it (see below). Once the photo has been cropped, you can validate it by clicking on ✓ at the top right of your screen.

Tip: Use a square image under 1MB for best results

Adding social media links:

  • Scroll to the Social media section in your profile

  • Click Edit, enter your usernames (not full URLs)

  • Icons for LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. will show on your profile

To remove an account, just delete the username on your profile.

Adding another email:

If you have multiple email addresses ( e.g : personal and professional ), you can add an additional email address to your account.

For example, you can receive communication emails at a different email address than the one you provided when you registered.

  • Go to Settings in your profile

  • Click Add an email address, enter it, and confirm via the link sent to your inbox

  • Once verified, you can log in or receive emails with either address

If event organizers update your info to match registration details, you’ll be asked to confirm it.

To review:

  • Go to My Profile > Edit

  • Look for prompts asking you to Accept or Decline changes

You're always in control of what’s visible on your profile.


📆 How can I manage my event schedule?

My schedule shows everything you've planned to attend: sessions and meetings.

Benefits:

  • Keep track of where you need to be and when

  • Avoid double-booking

To access your schedule:
Go to Profile > My schedule, then use tabs to view Sessions ( except on-demand content) or Meetings. You can also:

Every connection you make is stored under My contacts. Use this space to:

🔖 How do I find saved sessions or exhibitors?

Bookmarking lets you track what's important—sessions, companies, or content.

My bookmarks stores all content you've saved: on-demand video sessions, companies, or items.

Benefits:

  • Easily return to important content

  • Organize exhibitors you want to meet

  • Rewatch videos at your own pace

To view bookmarks:
Go to Profile > My bookmarks, then navigate by tab:

  • Companies: ( exhibitors and sponsors that you bookmarked)

  • Wishlist : (all your bookmarked products and items, if there are any made available by the Event Organizer.)

  • Videos (on-demand sessions that you bookmarked)

  • Add a friendly photo and short, clear bio

  • Complete your company and title info for better visibility

  • Use social links to let attendees connect beyond the platform

  • Bookmark exhibitors or sessions you want to follow up on

  • Sync your calendar so you never miss a session


📏 Profile field limits & formats

  • Profile photo: Max 1MB, 200x200px

  • First/Last name: 100 characters each

  • Job title: 255 characters

  • Bio: 1,000 characters
