F.A.Q.

  • Can I add my badge to my Apple Wallet?

If the event supports Wallet integration:

  1. Open the event app

  2. Go to the Ticket or My Badge page

  3. Tap Add to Apple Wallet

  4. The badge is saved directly to your device’s Wallet app.

  • Why can’t I see my badge in the app?

If you can’t find your badge in the app, it may be because:

    • The organizer hasn’t released badges yet

    • The event doesn’t support digital badges in-app (e.g. Fi Europe)

Swapcard doesn’t control badge visibility. This is fully managed by the event organizer.

How do I find my badge before the event?

You can typically access your badge in one of two ways:

Check your registration email

After you register for the event, you’ll usually receive a confirmation email from the organizer. This email often contains:

  • A PDF copy of your badge

  • A link to view or download your badge

  • Instructions on how to access it in the app

If you don’t see it, search for keywords like the event name, “badge,” or the organizer’s name in your inbox and spam folder.

Access your badge in the event app

If the organizer made badges available in the event app, follow these steps:

  • On desktop:

    1. Go to the event platform in your browser

    2. Log into your account

    3. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner

    4. Select Edit profile from the dropdown menu

    5. Look for a Download Badge or My Badge button

  • On mobile app:

    1. Open the app and log in

    2. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar

    3. Look for a My Badge or Download Badge section

    4. Tap it to view and save your badge

How do I download or print my badge?

Downloading:

  • On desktop:

    1. Log in to the event platform

    2. Click your profile icon > Edit profile

    3. Click Download Badge

  • On mobile:

    1. Tap the Profile icon

    2. Select My Badge

    3. Tap Download

Printing:

  • Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari

  • Ensure your printer is connected

  • Open the badge file and press Ctrl+P / Cmd+P

  • Adjust layout settings if needed

If the badge won't print correctly, contact the organizer—they manage the file format and layout.

How does self check-in and badge printing work on-site?

Here’s what to expect when arriving at the venue:

You’ll find designated check-in stations near the entrance, equipped with check-in and badge printing software.

Use any of the following methods to check yourself in:

  • Open the Swapcard app and scan your QR code

  • Use the QR code from your registration email

  • Enter your registration details manually on-screen

Once checked in, the system will automatically:

  • Generate a personalized badge

  • Print it immediately at the station

With your badge printed, you can enter the event and begin networking without delay.

What should I do if I still can’t access my badge?

If you’ve tried all steps and still can’t:

  • See your badge

  • Download or print it

  • Correct wrong details

…then contact the event organizer directly. Their contact info is usually in:

  • The Help section of the app

  • The event website

  • Your registration email

Be sure to include your full name, registered email, and a clear description of your issue.

Being able to access your badge easily—whether digitally, through Apple Wallet, or via self check-in—helps you enter the event quickly and focus on what matters: networking and learning. If your badge isn’t visible or contains incorrect information, reaching out to the event organizer is the most effective next step. By following the steps outlined above, you’ll ensure a seamless arrival experience and avoid any last-minute surprises at the venue.
