Connecting with other attendees during an event is a key feature that enhances your networking opportunities and helps you foster valuable relationships. By sending connection requests, you can engage in meaningful conversations and collaborations that extend beyond the event. This article will guide you through the steps to connect with other event participants, ensuring you make the most out of your event experience.

Access to participant connections is at the discretion of the event organizer. If you wish to connect with other attendees, please reach out to the organizer for permission.

Why should you connect with other attendees?
Building connections with other attendees allows you to expand your professional network, share insights, and collaborate on future projects. These connections are invaluable for creating long-lasting relationships that can benefit you both personally and professionally.

How to access the Attendee list

Open the event you're attending and look for the Attendees page. Note that the name of this page may vary depending on the Organizer's settings.

How to send a connection request to another attendee

On the web app

  • Open the event you're attending and look for the Attendees page. Note that the name of this page may vary depending on the Organizer's settings.

  • Search for the person you want to connect with. If you can't find them, it might be because their profile is not visible. Once you locate them, click on the Connect button.

  • Send a Message (Optional): After clicking Connect, their profile will open, allowing you to send a message before sending the connection request.

You can use pre-created message suggestions to have better chances at getting an answer! Indeed, connection requests with messages are more likely to be answered.

  • Once the request has been accepted, you will be able to chat directly through the event app.

On the mobile app

On mobile, to connect with other attendees on mobile, the process is the same.

How to connect directly from the People page

You can also directly connect with other attendees from the People page. No need to navigate through multiple pages or search for specific profiles, you can simply click on the "Connect" button next to the person's name and start networking in just a few clicks.

PS : This feature is only available on People pages defined as "list".

Once you click on Connect, you'll have the option to either send a connection request or book a meeting.


Connection and Meeting Request Limitation

If you attempt to send an excessive number of requests within a specified time frame, our system will intervene to maintain a high standard of user experience.

Upon reaching the connection or meeting request limit, you will receive the following alert: "You have exceeded the allowable number of consecutive requests. Please try again later."


How to delete a contact

To delete a contact, go to the "Contacts" tab of your account and select the contact you wish to delete. Then click on the "Delete" button at the bottom of the contact form.
