Changing the language of my account

When you're using the Swapcard platform, you have the option to change the language to your desired choice. Please note that this will only change the language of certain aspects and not the entire event you are attending. All of the documents and videos will remain as the set language the organizer has set for their event. There are 2 ways you can change the language of your account on Swapcard:

  1. Use the language prompt

  2. Change the interface language

If you are attending an event for the first time on Swapcard, you may see a notification similar to this:

This will appear on the bottom right corner of your screen, if you are attending an event that is set in a different language than that of your browser. You will be asked whether you wish to keep the platform and the event in the language of the event, or switch to the language of your browser.

If you opt to change the language, the platform will change to your browser's language. The event's content such as menus or descriptions will only update if the Organizer has configured them to that language.

Change the interface language

To change your interface's language at any time, open the dropdown menu at the top-right corner of your screen, under your name, and click on Settings.

You will then be able to select your preferred language, from the list of the supported languages.



Note: This does not mean that the Session videos, uploaded content, or reading material will be translated. All of the content uploaded and managed by the Organizer will remain in the language of the event.
