Whether you're using the iOS or Android version, this guide provides troubleshooting tips to help you resolve common problems and get back to enjoying your event. From updating the app to finding crash logs, follow these steps to fix any issues you might encounter.
How do I troubleshoot issues on the iOS App
Having trouble with the iOS version of the app? Here's our iPhone troubleshooting guide with fixes for all kinds of common issues:
Ensure that the application is up to date and there are no outstanding updates.
Make sure you are accessing the platform via the mobile application and not web browser on your mobile device.
Close the application, restart your phone, or uninstall the application and re-install
If you are using a branded application for the event (the event name or organization is the name of the application), and the issue persists, please switch to the Swapcard application instead.
Finding the Swapcard app crash logs on iOS
When troubleshooting Swapcard for iOS application crashes, our Support Team may request a crash log to determine what has happened. For this, we need the affected user to find the logs in their iOS device' Settings app.
Finding the logs in your iOS device
Open the Settings app
Tap Privacy
Tap Analytics & Improvements
Tap Analytics Data
Scroll down and select any item that starts with Swapcard and shows the date you encountered the crash
Once you select it, you will see the actual logs that have been saved. There, tap the Share icon located in the top right corner, and email the crash log to Swapcard. If you have already been in touch with our Support Team, please type the original ticket ID in the subject line or the name of the person you have been working with.
