Why would you delete your account?
You may want to delete your Swapcard account if you're no longer attending events, managing them, or simply no longer wish to use the platform. Whether you created the account yourself or it was made for you during event registration, you can delete it anytime.
Caution: Deleting your account is permanent. You’ll lose access to all your events, contacts, messages, and preferences.

How can you delete your Swapcard account?
1. Log In to Your Account
Access your Swapcard account, either on the web app or from the iOS/Android mobile app, by logging in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to Account Settings
On Desktop: click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner then Settings.
On Mobile: click on "Me" tab at the bottom right, then Settings.
3. Find the Delete Account section and Confirm deletion
At the bottom of the Settings page, find Delete account, and click the red button Delete my account
For security reasons, you will have to enter your password received by email to confirm this action.
What should you consider before deleting your account?
Data loss: Deleting your account will erase all stored data, including event participation records, saved content, messages, and any preferences or customizations.
No reactivation: Once deleted, your account cannot be restored. If you wish to use Swapcard again, you will need to create a new account from scratch.
Support assistance: If you experience any issues during the deletion process or have questions about the impact of account deletion, you can reach out to Swapcard Support for help.
Once your account has been deleted, you will no longer have access to any events or saved data on Swapcard. If you decide to return in the future, you will need to register again and set up a new profile from scratch.
