How to delete my account

Learn how to delete your Swapcard account and the related impact.

Whether you created a Swapcard account as an event organizer to manage an event or had an account created for you by an organizer because you registered for an event, you can delete your account at any time.

Caution: This action is irreversible. You will lose all your information, including your contacts, messages, and events hosted on Swapcard.

Steps to Delete your Account

1. Log In to Your Account

Access your Swapcard account, either on the web app or from the iOS/Android mobile app, by logging in with your credentials.

2. Navigate to Account Settings

  • On Desktop: click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner then Settings.

  • On Mobile: click on "Me" tab at the bottom right, then Settings.

3. Find the Delete Account section and Confirm deletion

  • At the bottom of the Settings page, find Delete account, and click the red button Delete my account

  • For security reasons, you will have to enter your password to confirm this action.

Important Considerations

  • Data Loss: Deleting your account will result in the loss of all data associated with it, including event registrations, saved preferences, and any content you may have created.

  • Reactivation: Once deleted, your account cannot be reactivated. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Swapcard in the future.

  • Contact Support: If you encounter any issues during the deletion process or have any concerns, contact Swapcard support for assistance.
